Adelaide band 'she said you' comprises four individuals that whilst evolving as performers in numerous other bands, have formed a cohesive songwriting outfit in 2008. Fusing their diverse backgrounds, emotions and energy, the group produces a unique rock sound with a pop sensibility that has already drawn international attention.
2008 has seen 'she said you' write, record & produce their debut album, while regularly crossing the borders of South Australia, Victoria & New South Wales to perform live shows to their wide spread fan base. Venues played include 'The Espy' (Melb), 'The Hopetoun' (Syd), 'The Lansdowne' (Syd), 'The Producers Bar' (Adel) and 'The Yahoo Bar' (Shepparton).
July '08 heard 'Triple J' unearth the group's debut single "Dark Sunglasses", which was recorded at the band's home studio and mixed by the highly acclaimed producer Phil McKellar (Silverchair, Grinspoon, Spiderbait). The song has continued to receive airplay on commercial, community & university radio stations throughout Australia and abroad. These include Nova 919 Adelaide, 3RRR Melbourne, SYN 90.7, 95bFM Auckland University and Moscow's Radio Ultra 70.19FM.
A sense of energy surrounds the South Australian quartet and what lies ahead for them. 'she said you' are teaming up again with Phil McKellar to mix and co-produce their debut album which will be due for release in early 2009.
