System requirements
Systems must be running Internet Explorer 6 and above, or Firefox 2 and above.
Safari is currently untested, but may function.
All browsers must have cookies turned on, as well as Java installed and enabled. Adobe Flash Player is also required to be installed.

Account creation
All users must create a standard account. The multi-purpose account can be used to buy tracks from existing
bootleg music users, or setup to be an artist account, allowing you to sell your own tracks.

Shopping cart
All users have access to a shopping cart which is viewable in most areas of the site.
It will always show how many items are in the cart, as well as the current total.
The full shopping cart screen will list all items in the cart, their individual prices and a grand total.
Payment Payment is made through a secure server and transaction are prcoessed in real time. |

Edit details
This area allows users to update their current details.
Address or contact information may have changed since initially signing up for a bootleg music account; it is important to keep these details up to date. |

Logout
Clicking the logout button at any stage will log the user out, remove any items from their personal shopping cart, and return them to the start (home) page. |

Account setup
Setting up an account is easy, simply click 'setup artist account'.
With an Artist account, users can sell their own music / tracks, network with other artists and recieve feedback on their work.

Profile
The general public can purchase music from the artist's profile page. The profile page contains an artist bio, posted comments, gig guide and a link to friends of the artist. This page is created automatically once an artist account has been successfully created and the artist has uploaded at least one song for purchase.

Manage artist
Got a gig coming up? News to share? Update your details by clicking the 'manage artist' link.
There are advanced options within this section, which include, 'Change profile photo', 'Add / Edit tracks', 'Request money' and 'De-activate artist account'.

Change profile photo
The profile photo is used on the profile page as well as on the friends list. The photo that appears on the friend list photo is a cropped version of the main profile photo.
'Change profile photo' allows you to do just that. Alternatively, if you do not wish to post a photo, the default image can be used.

Add / Edit tracks
This area can be used to manage the artist's catalogue. Tracks can be added and removed at any time.
NOTE: At least one song must always be present in the artist's catalogue or the profile page will automatically be de-activated.

Request money
An artist can request money by clicking on the link. Money becomes available to the artist once sales have been made from their music.
Unlike other online services, bootleg music will only ever take a flat fee from the sale price; the remainder goes in the artist's pocket.
NOTE: All sales are made in AUD. All money is requested in AUD. Conversion rates do apply, as well as additional fees your banking institute charges for currency conversion.

Sales
To view all current and previous sales, once logged in, click the 'view sales' link under the artist stats.
Artists can view the date all sales were made, the sale price and whether they have requested money for individual sales.

Comments
Following login, click the 'view comments' link under the artist stats to view all new and previously posted comments.
Artists have complete control over the comments that are displayed on their profile page. Any comment deemed inappropriate can deleted by clicking the 'delete comment' link.

Friends
Artists can view their current list of friends by clicking the 'view friends' link once logged in.
